Says she’s the first Indian female DJ to perform at the World Economic Forum to be held there….

D J Megha Kawale is all set to make India proud as she steps behind the DJ console at the 40th anniversary of the World Economic Forum to be held in Davos starting January 27.

DJ Megha is happy as she says she will become the first Indian female DJ to play at WEF, a big moment for her as this year is significant, with the world leaders meeting under the theme ‘Improve the State of the World: Rethink, Redesign, Rebuild’. As over 2,500 leaders from over 90 countries representing business, government and civil society work together on pressing challengers, Megha will scratch the disc and churn out music for the them. “There are loads of heads of states and head-honchos of various economic organisations and I hope to make them have a great time.” Says Megha, adding, “I’m looking forward to meeting these people and having a great interaction with them too.”

Megha will play Bollywood music for the first time. “I hope there’s a heater next to my console as it’s going to be freezing there!” jokes Megha, adding, “I will play a lot of Indian and Bollywood music for the first time alongside my trademark house music.” She informs.
