Initially, I didn’t think of changing my name. Over a period of time, people recognised me as Megha.Internationally, it was frequently confused with ‘Megha’. So, I decided to include my surname. I think, wacky names work better for groups, not individuals. It’s important that people know where I come from, which is why I’ve stuck to my Maharashtrian name.
